Do you have a printed catalogue?
Yes, we have printed catalogues for our chandeliers, and prisms. As a company you can just send an email to info@krebs.se with your companys postal address and we will send you a printed copy of our catalogue. Mark the subject of the email with what type of products you would like catalogues for.
Do you have any retailers in my country?
If you look at our page for retailers you will find companies all over the world that have listed themselves as retailers for crystal chandeliers. The ones marked with our logo are able to give you more information about our products.
How do I clean my chandelier?
You should always avoid touching the prisms. We recommend you to use a cleaning agent, such as Sparkle Plenty.
How high above the table shold the chandelier hang?
You should at least see to that the chandelier is hanging as far up so everyone can see eachother across the table.
How do I shorten the chain to my chandelier?
Put two screwdrivers, one from each side into one of the links you want to remove. Turn the screwdrivers towards eachother until the link opens and you are able to remove the link from the cable. Do this with all links you want to remove. Open yet another link and connect it the last closed link. Put the screwdrivers the opposite way in the open link and turn to close the link. Pull the excess cable into the ceiling plate.
How do you ship the chandeliers?
Smaller chandeliers, with up to 5 arms can be shipped postal by air, at a relatively low cost. Larger chandeliers are very expensive to ship by air, thus are normally shipped by boat. Large orders for more than 2-3 chandeliers are also shipped by boat if not the buyer suggest otherwise. We use DHL.
I am a private customer; can I buy from you anyway?
We only sell to companies. Try and contact any of the companies at our lists for retailers or repair centres, lists for retailers. If you cannot find a company nearby, please contact us at info@krebs.se.
Can you produce special orders?
Normally we do not produce special orders, but carry only those products available in our assortment. However, smaller adjustments might be possible, contact us for further information in such case.
How is the height meassured, does it include the chain?
No, the lenght of the chain is not included in the height meassurement. It is meassured from the very bottom of the chandelier (usually a crystal ball or a brass knob) to the highest point of the actual chandelier.
If you would like to estimate the actual height from the ceiling, add another 75 cm to the height.
What are your terms of payment?
Web orders are delivered by advance payment. We accept VISA, MasterCard and EuroCard credit cards. You can also pay by wire transfer to our bank account.
What type of lighting bulbs shall I use?
You should always use clear bulbs. In our chandeliers bulbs of candelabra fitting is used.
What is the minimum distance between living candles and the ceiling?
There is no exact answer since different candles are of different lenght, burn with different flames and with various temperatures. Our suggestion is that you meassure the temperature at the ceiling directly above the chandelier, both with unlit and lit candles. The temperature should not rice more than moderately when the candles are lit.
